YES I CAN! Charity at 4Sight Vision Support
& Blatchington Court's
We were invited by 4Sight Vision Support to attend their Fun Day on 26th October at their centre in Bognor Regis to give blind and visually impaired children, young people and adults of any age the opportunity to try woodwind and brass instruments with a view to learning them with our charity at 4Sight Vision and what a fun day that was! Music is fun and the fun was very much enjoyed!
Lots and lots of interest with notes being played by all, irrespective of age! This interest was closely followed by everyone saying "When can we start please!" Being blind or visually impaired is no barrier to learning a Saxophone, a Trumpet, a Clarinet, a Flute, a Horn or even a Sousaphone and here at YES I CAN! charity we enthusiastically enable that. There WILL be Band at 4Sight Vision!

GREAT FUN and MUSICAL MOMENTS
at BLATCHINGTON COURT - HOVE
On Sunday 28th July 2019 we held a Woodwind and Brass Taster Lesson Day for Blatchington Court Clients. Chris demonstrated the Alto Saxophone, Clarinet, Cornet and Trumpet and everyone had a go at producing notes on them. There was 100% success with the average time being no more than 10 seconds to play their first notes and then going-on to learn to play the first few bars of "When The Saints Go Marching In", giving the enthusiastic new Young Musicians great confidence about learning to play. Blatchington's staff enthusiastically tried the instruments and produced notes too, playing along with the children - Music is Fun and it was a Fun Day!
